September 21, 2009 -- Denise Turney (www.chistell.com), author of the books Portia, Love Has Many Faces, Spiral, Long Walk Up and Love Pour Over Me will interview the poet and novelist, Tika, on her popular radio show Off The Shelf. Tika is the author of the books Forever Autumn, Piper, Baby Love and Zuri and Friends.
Forever Autumn tells the story of a woman who was abused then returns to her hometown to seek revenge on her assaulter. Piper is a book of love poems; it is the same book that launched Tika’s published writing career. Baby Love and Zuri and Friends (Tika’s latest book) are children’s books that seek to inspire and teach children their worth and the importance of using their creativity to tackle challenges.
