Denise Turney (www.chistell.com), author of the books Portia, Love Has Many Faces, Spiral, Long Walk Up and Love Pour Over Me (to be released early 2010) sits down and talks with RuNett Nia Ebo on Off The Shelf (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Denise-Turney-). RuNett Nia Ebo is a poet and the author of the novel, All For You. During the hour long feature interview on Off The Shelf, the two artists remove the veil and discuss the patterns of domestic abuse. Signs that women and men can look for in potential abusers like possessiveness and preoccupation with being perceived as perfect are openly shared with the radio station’s listeners.

Authentic and enduring romance is also discussed during the feature interview. It is in keeping with the plot of All For You. RuNett Nia Ego wrote the novel which is set in her hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after writing poetry for decades. Ebo’s work can be experienced live at several venues throughout Philadelphia, particularly spoken word events. Ebo also works as the manager for the singing group MTM.

Other items covered during the Off The Shelf interview will show new writers how to market and promote their titles so they land more book sales, the importance of connecting with a local audience and the value of a solid brand. Writers and readers who want to learn more about the Philadelphia’s Annual People’s Festival and the Germantown Church of the Brethren’s bazaar that featured authors, singers, musicians and photographers should also tune in.

Off The Shelf (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Denise-Turney-) is going into his sixth year on the air. The radio program conducts feature interviews with new, seasoned and bestselling writers, agents, editors, script writers, publicists and literary agents. Turney states that, “The goal for Off The Shelf is to encourage artists to continue to hone their craft and connect with an educated and insightful reading audience. The radio program also exists to encourage people from all walks of life, particularly youth, to continue to read good books and strengthen their literacy skills.”
