Austin, TX – October 13, 2009 – Front Gate Tickets, a leading provider of ticketing services for venues, festivals, and promoters, has entered into a partnership with Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz Playhouse located in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The venue, which resides in the famous Royal Sonesta Hotel, opened in March 2009 to host some of the country’s best jazz including Kermit Ruffins, Leon "Kid Chocolate" Brown, and the Original Tuxedo band.
Mayfield, who has lent his name to the venue and will help book the talent, is a Grammy-nominated and Billboard Award-winning Jazz trumpeter.
