LOCAL YOUNG MAN WITH SPINA BIFIDA RECEIVES DONATED ELECTRIC SCOOTER
January 4, 2007
A young man by the name of Marty Hall age 20 of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, received a wonderful Christmas present -- an electric scooter donated by The Rascal Company. Marty along with his family (father Marty sr. and his mother Sue) were surprised this season when they received the Rascal Scooter presented by Lee Owen, a local mobility consultant for The Rascal Company. The scooter donation was made at the local Volunteer Fire Department Hall.
Marty, who suffers from Spina Bifida, will now be able to use the Rascal Scooter to lead a more productive life, not only allowing him more mobility at home, but also around town and on trips with his family. An avid hunter and fisher, Marty knew no limits when it came to his manual wheelchair.
