AxisVM version 9 released
InterCAD Kft, a European software developer with engineering users in forty countries, has released AxisVM version 9. This software version includes many new features that expand the capability for mechanical and structural engineers to analyze the behavior of designs.
Direct object modeling speeds up and enhances accuracy of the structural model. Users can create, save and reuse component parts that can include complex, composite elements such as elevator shafts, mechanical cantilevers, custom fabricated joints and more.
AxisVM mechanical and building engineer users can make 2D or 3D models from its graphic CAD modeler or import files from almost every CAD software in IFC, DXF, CIS/2 or DWG formats.
Models designed have no size limitation, include steel, wood, concrete or aluminum materials and cross sections, can be printed and saved, exported to BIM software users as IFC files, and dynamically linked to the tables, documents or images created by any other software program.
The version 9 includes new finite elements, pre-stressed concrete analysis, an open data structure for user integrations, and a direct connection to Tekla structures software.
AxisVM is available in French, English, German, Italian, Dutch, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese, Serbian and Hungarian languages. Details about AxisVM version 9 are available on the company website: www.axisvm.eu
