The #1 rule of press release writing is to never write a press release without annoucing news about yourself or your organization. All good press releases answer the question "what happened" or "what will happen".
Examples of news or announcements:
1. new product feature
2. new product
3. new location
4. record sales reached
5. award won
6. company to move on ____ date
7. company to open on ____ date
If your press release does not answer a question like this, it is not a press release and should not be issued.
